Hi! My name is Kimberly Siva. I am the founder of Mixspace Technologies. This company is the culmination of ten years working in augmented reality, mobile apps, virtual reality, and finally mixed reality.
I was lucky enough to do my Master’s work in the Augmented Environments Lab at Georgia Tech. Following that, I provided developer technical support for the QCAR SDK (now Vuforia), helping shape the earliest version of the SDK. I helped many of you get started with AR on the QCAR forums.
Over the years I’ve built many iOS and Android apps and tinkered will all sorts of new technologies. But I’ve never been more excited about a project than I am right now.
Whether you call it augmented reality or mixed reality or XR or something else, I believe this is the future of computing. But we still have a lot to figure out. This future is not yet fully formed, and it’s going to take all of us working and exploring together to make it better than what’s come before.
Mixspace Technologies is my small role in this adventure. I hope to create developer tools that will give everyone more space to learn and work and play, in all realities.
